Yeah… can’t win there. It’s really hard to any way. So I keep saying that we need the people to wake up. But most of them will not till they either loose it all, or the horrors come to their living rooms. Rude awakening. People have been systematically dumbed down for centuries. Our food, water, public education, all kinds of shit. They stack the deck against us. Even then, there are people who break their chains. People who are able to reach others, even if it is one at a time.
That is what we need to be. A paradigm shift in the way we think and access information. We still have the Internet… for now. The main goal would be to reach as many people as possible with just the right information, but the information touches each person differently. What wakes me up will not wake everyone else. How do we reach everyone? Or, how do we reach enough people to make critical thinking mainstream. You know, we reach three people, they reach three each and so on. Be the change you wish to see. I just don’t want to resort to giving my people a rude awakening. Sometimes it’s the only thing that I believe will work. Screw it… help them suffer a little so that their eyes will be torn open. Then I remember, that is the path of evil, and it will not ultimately work. Ever.
Help me think of a way.

Remember that “they” rule by fear, so we must teach and enlighten by the opposite.
I preach to the choir. Most of my friends and family know. They KNOW what is going on in the world, and that it affects them and their families. They are just products of the system that has been in place for so long that they know nothing else. So are you. If you are here on this site reading this, then you too are most likely in the same boat.

People are so used to the bread and circuses that if they did see something wrong, and really knew it in their hearts, they would only bitch about it for a moment or so and go back to the next shiny feel good object that caught their attention.
Does an awakening have to be drastic to really take hold? Do we all need to loose the shiny feel goods in order to truly focus on what is stepping on our faces? The faces of our children?
Yes it’s that dire. You just don’t feel that it’s that important because it’s not in your face effecting you.
